The hydrogen electrolytic cell / electrolyzer uses SPE technology to input pure water or double distilled water that meets the requirements into the anode chamber of the electrolytic cell. Then the pure water or double distilled water is supplied to the membrane electrode assembly, where oxygen, hydrogen ions and electrons are reacted on the anode side to produce oxygen, hydrogen ions and electrons(2H20→4H++4e−+02↑)
The electrons are transferred to the cathode through the external circuit, and the hydrogen ions ( H+ ) reach the cathode through the proton exchange membrane, absorb electrons to form hydrogen (4H++4e-→2H2↑), which is discharged from the cathode chamber and enters the gas-water separator to generate high-purity hydrogen.
The hydrogen electrolytic cell / electrolyzer is composed of electrode assembly-membrane electrode-sealing assembly, etc. The core is the membrane assembly. Our company adopts the -Hycean™ series of special proton membrane electrodes for hydrogen evolution to ensure safe, stable and high-purity hydrogen output from the electrolytic cell / electrolyzer.
